May is National High Blood Pressure Education Month. This is the time each year when organizations across the country join together to increase public awareness of high blood pressure and promote improved prevention and control. May 2005 is no different, except that we want to encourage even more organizations than usual, including businesses, community groups, civic and faith-based organizations, hospital outreach programs, public health departments, and workplaces to take action this May and conduct activities to prevent and control high blood pressure.
